It seems to me I'm just no good at blogging any more. I rarely get online but if I do, I blog. So as you can see it's been a few weeks since I have even been near a computer. I think about everyone and wonder what is happening but to actually get online is another thing. I find there is never a good time and its too late or I'm too tired. I can't sit still long as I get a sore back or someone else is using the computer..
The weeks and months seem to be passing by and I am amazed it is nearly 2009 already.
I think the start of next year will go slowly though.
So Congrats to all American's on electing Obama as your new President. I bet your happy it's all over with. What a long time to wait! I hope it's a great new beginning with wonderful changes. Sorry to all of those who voted otherwise. Maybe next time hey...
My Dad and Step-Mum are breaking up. They have been married six years. It's taken me a while to accept her and the family that came with her but I did and I was always happy for Dad as it had been a while since Mum had passed. He's taking it hard as to be expected and I would have liked it if they had tried to make it work but it doesn't look good. I guess all I can do is be there if he needs me.
A.j had his sleep over camp last week. He had great fun at the Waves Pool during the day and then slept at the school that evening. I missed him but was glad he was having fun. He's rarely away over night so it was weird. He's had a few friends over after school the last few weeks which has kept him happily occupied and there is a boy recently moved next door who is over right now.
Well, I'm doing fine, the pic you see of me was taken a few minutes ago. I'm 22 weeks... Yay..
So bubby is doing fine and kicking and growing well. Some of the kicks are a bit uncomfortable, and it looks funny when you can see the movements when you look at my tummy.. I had a u/s scan 2 weeks ago as you know.. I'm sorry it took so long to post a pic but I finally did :-) . I'm starting the count down which could be a long process. Only 18 weeks or less to go! lol. and it's going to a boy. So now we can think about names... mmm, that one is going to be hard.

You look beautiful. What a coincidence, I was just thinking about you yesterday :) Sorry to hear about your Pop and his Mrs. I am glad the election is over and only time will tell. My reservation of President Elect Obama are not for the color of his skin but for some of the things he says. I'm sure anything and anyone has to be better than GW.

Hey there Lesley, I came by on back of Jay's Blog and well, it looks like we have a bit in common :) I am in Victoria also. I have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. My baby is now 5, she is a March baby, she is also my best behaved baby :)
Make sure you keep on resting when your body tells you to. This silly weather being hot in one wind and cool in the next breath of wind is enough to even drive non-pregnant peoples mad :)
I am going to stay posted on your progress.
My cousin is due any day with her first baby, she will have the baby at Kyneton hospital and transfer over to Dayelsford. They no longer deliver at Dayelsford..wich is a pity as she lives two streets from the hospital itself!

Lesley is fine. She did have her baby boy, Tyler, about 2 weeks ago. All is well, and she was safe from the fires. She is ok, let's just hope she updates soon with pics of her new little bundle of joy.

it worked. thankyou Heather for letting everyone know i was ok. i have been trying to get on line since liast year have a baby boy called tyler, he is 3 months old.im using a mobile ph
hope this all works. i was pretty sick the last few months of pregnancy with high bp not pre_eclampsia. in and out of hosp with uncontrolable bp. in the end had c_section at 38 wks. tyler born 4th march weighing 5 pound 15 ounces. luv lesley
before i go on. thank u 4 the msgs, my sis and kids got out just in time but lost the house and dog in the kinglake fires.it will haunt them forever, what they saw. i wish i could be there for her. lesley
they are coping but, you know. i grew up in kinglake too. anyway. must finish soon,fingers hurting. anyway lots more to tell. got diagnosed with pheochromocytoma but still having tests to be certain. tumor, 2.5 by 3 cm in right adrenal gland. luv lesley
when tyler was born they still couldnt get my bp under control so on day 8 and still in hosp they called in bp specialist. day 9 they tell me i have a pheo. i went home with unstable bp but signed myself out as they had discharged tyler already.
i have been back in hosp twice since being out , usual modes of transfer from one hosp to another has been via ambulance and helicopter, lol i like to travel in style! so far ive stayed out of hosp for 5 wks this time. these bp meds are keeping bp down
